We are an independent, voluntary organisation with over 89,000 members and have been described as the most successful consumer group in Europe. Landlord Jim Morton is local branch membership secretary for the Dengie 100 branch of CAMRA. The Queens Head won Dengie CAMRA's Town Pub of the Year in 2008 as well as being the only pub in Burnham in 'The Good Beer Guide 2008' making it Burnham's only CAMRA recognised pub.
