History of the RNLI at Burnham on Crouch Burnham on Crouch has been the base for a lifeboat since 1966 when the inshore lifeboat station was established with a D class inshore lifeboat behind the Royal Corinthian Yacht Club. The inshore rescue boat was then launched via a trailer and the yacht club ramp.
